The processing method of polyester knitted fabric belongs to the field of textile apparel fabrics. This type of fabric has natural elasticity and does not turn at the ends, unlike the yarn used in jersey. The process is also known as 'knitting' and includes raw material preparation, pre-processing, dyeing, soft handling on a rolling type flexible machine with softener, rear finishing, and slitting.
Three types of polyester knitted fabrics were investigated in this study. These were the staple, textured, and moisture-management. The textured polyester had a higher air permeability value than the moisture-management polyester, and the lowest filamet value. The highest thermal resistance was observed for Type 5 and the lowest filamet number of the elastan yarns. The cheapest type was found to have the highest air permeability value, while the thickest and most dense fabric was ranked as the highest.
The three types of polyester knitted fabric were evaluated for thermophysiological comfort features. The first type was a textured type. It was also compared to a moisture-management type, which is characterized by a high fibre density and good elasticity. The second type was a moisture-management-type. The highest absorption rate in both types was observed for textured and moisture-managed polyester knitted fabrics.
The three types of polyester knitted fabrics were studied for their thermal resistance and air permeability. The textured and moisture-managed versions were both evaluated for their thermal resistance and air permeability, and the textured type showed the highest thermal resistance. The voluminous, textured, and moisture-managed polyester were the best for cycling clothing. However, they are not breathable. For these reasons, many people prefer cotton and wool-based fabrics.
The three types of polyester knitted fabric were evaluated for their thermal and breathable properties. The highest permeability was found in the textured fabric, followed by the moisture-managed polyester. All of the fabrics had high thermal resistance and low vapor-resistance. The lower-cost variant had the highest air permeability, which made it an ideal material for summer cycling clothing. Various other kinds of polyester knitted fabric were tested for thermophysiological comfort and air-permeability.
Thermological comfort properties of polyester knitted fabric are investigated using special types of yarns. These special fabrics are characterized by their thermal resistance, air permeability, and moisture management. Among them, textured and moisture-managed polyester are the best for sportswear. They are non-ironed and breathable, making them ideal for outdoor use. They are also highly durable. They are also easy to care for.
Moisture-management polyester knitted fabric was analyzed for air permeability. This fabric is designed to manage moisture in sports. It is resistant to mildew and has a high absorption rate. This fabric is also breathable, and does not hold body heat, which is a major benefit. It also dries quickly. In addition to these properties, it dries quickly. In the MMT scale, it is one of the best fabrics for athletes.
Thermophysiological comfort of polyester knitted fabric was studied for three different types: textured, moisture-management, and staple. Each type of knitted fabric was examined for air permeability and thermal resistance. The textured polyester is more voluminous than moisture-managed polyester. Further, it is less breathable than its counterpart. There are several other types of fabric derived from polyester. This article explains its features and properties.
The wetting time of polyester knitted fabric is a key feature to determine its moisture-management ability. When the upper surface of the fabric becomes saturated, the other two surfaces are dry. The wetting time of a type of fabric is measured in milliseconds. The longer the wetting time, the higher the resistance. Regardless of the material used, its elasticity and stretch properties make it ideal for sportswear. When combined with the durability of polyester, this type of fabric is a smart choice for the sportswear industry.
